am i the only person in the world that liked C&C renegade? not a great FPS on its own, but since its strategy based I think it is a ton of fun
 
I tried to install the original C&C a year or two back... and it wouldn't even install on WinXP (gg DOS installs... remember having to select sound card ports and IRQs? geez...)

This collectors pack fix all of that? Everything installs and runs on WinXP without any problems? If so, it's certainly worth $30.

Yes they made it so it works on XP, I was playing the original earlier today, brings back good memories LOL.
 
Just placed my order. I was tempted to get the fast shipping but I didn't think it was worth the extra $8 or so.

I can't wait!! Command and Conquer!! WOWOWOWO!!!!!!!!!!!

The online multiplayer part of Renegade is surely one of the most werid FPS I have played, but it was tons of fun. It's just awefully funny to ask all your teamates to drive flames tanks into the opponent's base together.
 
wow it says the estimated arrival date is 03/07/06. isn't that a bit long?

Maybe I should have gotten the fast shipping service for $8 or so more

RA2/YR is my favorite game of all time. 🙁 Generals sucked big time.

I liked it a lot actually, but I never got to play with any humans, so it was pretty boring pretty quickly.

I might get this just to avoid the hassle of patching all the old games. Maybe Zero Hour fixes a lot of what was wrong with Generals?

I loved it. Finished the singleplayer, and played the multiplayer for countless hours. I loved their idea of multiplayer.
