Bye Bye Zip files :(

hey guys

i've hit another wall again. I have an Iomega Zip100 drive & disk. One of my disks is weird. I've had it for a while and it has been working fine until recently. I have several files on the zip disk but I can only see one file. The one file I can see is only about 1MB. I know the other files haven't been deleted because in the left hand pane of Windows Explorer it says the total disk space used is 81.8MB and 13.9MB free. I tried Tools --> Folder Options --> View --> "Show hidden files and folders." It didn't work. Does anyone know how I can make my computer "see" the files again?

I am running Windows 2000 and I do have Iomega's Zip drive drivers installed (it's acutally a driver and program combo).

Thanks,
Chipy

Utahj,

Thanks for the tip... I tried out the app and it did confirm my suspicion that it was the disk and not the drive. Though I still can't get back the data on the disk, I'm one step closer to solving my problem.

Thanks!!
