THis boss at work accused a guy of saying something that he didn't say to another boss. It basically came down to the bossman saying "Well I think you did it, so you did it - your fired." The guy tried to explain that he didn't say it but the bossman got nasty and said "I don't want to hear it, get the F out of here" The guy felt like hey, your going to screw up my life by firing me for something I didn't do so, well -- POP! The boss got 3 lefts and a massive right to the face/jaw and down he went!!! HAR!!!! It was bound to happen sooner or later. Its a new plant holiday for us now. "Knock your boss out day!" So any of you bosses out there beware: what goes around comes around. Watch Your mouth, boss man!!!

Sad part though is that the guy will be screwed until the end of his life ... assaulting a boss, anyone wants that on their CV ? 😉
 
The aftermath was the guy took off and we haven't heard anything else. I assume the company will file charges as low-class as they are. Now I will admit that the guy screwed up by socking the boss. If he was getting fired unfairly, he could have just sued. But the incident was caused by management treating someone unfairly and treating them with extreme disrespect and unjustified disdain. The management where I work talks to you as if your a dog who crapped on the carpet. Unacceptable, and we are getting fed up with it - something that they probably know now!!!

When I was a Carpenter a fellow Carpenter choked the Supertendant of the Job Site unconscous when the Supe had the Job Foreman Fire him. The Carpenter was charged with assualt but the Supe dropped the charges when the guy apologized to him. In than instance it was the Supe who showed a lot of class.
 
What kind of place do you work for? (i.e., warehouse, big retail, restaurant, etc.) It sounds horrible.

Sounds like a good story. Even though the former employee is now in deep doo-doo, it's funny. I bet the supervisor gets transferred soon.

20 years ago, when I first worked for GM, a guy tried to kill a boss with a Hi-lo.

The boss was sitting a glass enclosed stand alone satellite office cubicle thingy.

A friend of mine said he saw the guy on the hi-lo raise his forks to the chest height of the boss that was sitting in there. Then he dumped something heavy on the gas pedal and jumped off.

My friend said the hi-lo went about 30 feet and just when the hi-lo was about a foot from the cubicle the boss looked up from his desk to see the hi-lo bering strait down on him and dove to get out the way.

He came away with minor injuries and the hi-lo driver got fired for a year (unions
