he's smart. he was also too overconfident. saying "final answer" right away killed him. i'm sure vieira would have been like "are you sure?" and he would have corrected himself. he actually did realize he was wrong before the answer was given but couldn't do a thing about it.

now, the other dumbass who used all 3 lifelines and each clearly gave him the answer, and he still got it wrong...that was just s-m-r-t smart.
