WTF
it's "touch base" not "touch bases".

regardless, it's equally pointless and annoying.

not that I can't stand it,... just over-used... level-set

touch-base is something I despise.

utilize
synergy
many people who refer to themselves/get referred to as a "_____ professional" or "____ engineer" that don't really deserve the title
i___ (iMac, iPod, iRiver, iAmAMoronWhoDoesn'tKnowWhenASuccessfulMarketingCampaignIsGettingOldAndLame)
e____ (this one is dying, thankfully)
In many cases X/XP (X800XT...now with 100% more X right out of the box!) Apparently X is the "coolest" letter in the Roman alphabet, but it sure is beaten into the ground
Xtreme...the regular word doesn't bug me that much even though it is overused

in fact, I hate most deliberate misspellings in product names to make them more "cool" (Aztek comes to mind...)

unquote

I cannot believe people use that:
<quote></unquote>

It's END quote... NOT unquote... unless they are undoing the quote!!!

and...'quality time' is sickening.

:)

Phrases I hate:

Ping me (instead of "IM me") - do people outside my company use this?

Shoot me an email (instead of "send...")

Leverage that resource (umm... "use"?)

I hate... "Thanks in advance". It's presumptuous, pretentious, and just plain rude.
How bout... "Fvck you in retrospect". Now that's right on target :D
