Anyone here play this yet ? If so please let me know what you thought of the game.

My wife is really wanting it and I want to make sure she will be satisfied with it.

EDIT: If it is indeed good, it will be purchased within two hours.

Well, picked up the game two days ago, and I must say. It is extremely enjoyable. My wife absolutely loves it.

I too have been thinking about getting this game for the wife and I to play it. Also, have you played it online yet? How is that?

Buzz on the PS2 was actually better than the Scene-It counterpart on the 360. I imagine they brought the PS2 game over to the PS3. If that's the case, it's loads of fun. But don't over-do it like we did Scene-It. Now there's only grumbles and yawns when it gets mentioned.

I thought the ability to make your own quizzes sounded intriguing. Can anybody comment on how well it works?

It works alright. You can go to www.mybuzzquiz.com to create quizzes. I don't think you even have to have the game.

It is kind of limited in what you can do. There's a limit on characters for the questions and answers and you can't do pics or anything. Just 8 questions per quiz.

The Playstation Eye can be used for photo capture

There is a video review on Gamespot that says there are over 5000 questions. With new question packs coming soon on the PSN. I haven't tried online yet....but I will tell you, this game is addicting.

You also earn trophies. The quizzes you create online, then submit them...and then you turn on the PS3 and there they are.

My kids just love throwing the pies in my face in that part of the quiz.

edit: Mybuzz This is where you make your own quizzes. And you sign in with your PSN info.

i picked this up last weekend as a game to play with the gf. we like it lot. had another couple over and the four of us played the crap out of it for about 3 hours straight sunday night. the questions are very up to date too, like "who won the daytona 500 earlier this year?" i havent tried making my own questions yet. i did nab several trophies though during our gaming session. its even not too bad to play by yourself if you just want to stimulate your mind and learn some trivia.

Alright, I'm going to buy this, Saints Row 2, and something else when they have the Toys R Us deal. You talked me into it.

I see now on the Playstation Network, there is download content. There are 3 question packs and each contain over 500 new questions.

The packs are.....

Science Fiction
National Geographic
Video Games

IF...the Playstation Network cards ever make their way here, I am getting them

EDIT: The add on packs are $7.99 for National Geographic. $5.99 for Video Games and the same for Science Fiction.

I can live with $5.99. I just picked this up today. Pretty good so far, but I've only played by myself.

Wow, I really like this game.

My only complaints so far -
1. The round with the bomb in local multiplayer is stupid. It's not uncommon to answer all of your questions right (and rather quickly) and still get hit.
2. The round in online multiplayer when there are multiple correct answers - WTF @ showing what everyone else answered. I ended up having to answer within the last couple of seconds to prevent my opponent from copying.
3. I kind of though "sofa vs sofa" implied multiple players on each PS3 competing as teams (since you know, multiple people sit on a sofa). Oh well, I can live with it the way it is. Of course there's nothing preventing multiple people from participating, at least in rounds where timeliness doesn't matter.

Overall, great game.

Ahahaha.....

I know exactly what you mean. That bomb round......everytime my wife and I play the game, were like they should have made this part something else other than bombs. lol. We get points built up then they are gone. Sometimes you even buzz in and it still goes off.

However the online part of it I have yet to experience. I have been having too much fun playing it with my family. Will have to try though soon.
