That old man your talking about is former airforce and had the balls to sit in a tin can on top of 80 stories of explosives for a 24 hour trip to the moon using technology and equipment from the 60's. There is a life lesson here and that's don't fsck with people who are bigger men than you will ever be. Aldrin was the cream of the crop from the airforce (these guys could recalculate trajactories with sliderules in flight) and wasn't afraid of anything, even in his old age I wouldn't mess with him.
Read the book "The Right Stuff" or "Yeager" and you'll see how big and brass the balls were on the old boys. Next time you see Buzz two things, 1) Don't call him Edwin (he hates that) and 2) ask him to hop up and down so you can hear his balls clank together. Yes he's that tuff and he's that cool. The only other guy tougher and cooler would be Jim Lovell 'cuz he brought his bird back from the 240K+ miles away and lived to tell the tale.

BTW - How much are moon rocks worth?

Not to brown-nose Jim Lovell anymore Someone stole some Moon dust and when I had dinner at Jim Lovell's restaurant last year there is a display case down in the basement with a TON of memorabilia including several moonrocks. There is no security on them and I was surprised by this thinking that they are priceless...
