Buying XP Home OEM or UPGRADE?

I have a Windows 98SE computer that I want to through XP Home Editon on, but don't know if the OEM version will allow upgrading. Does anyone know if I can upgrade this computer from 98SE to XP using the OEM product? Also, Is the only difference I don't need a previous Windows License?

Thanks all!

You can do a full or upgrade install with an XP Upgrade. If all you have is an OEM recovery CD
for Windows 98SE then you cannot do a clean install. During the clean install Windows XP
requires or asks for your previous OS CD (not just an OEM image).

Best Wishes!

Ah! I misunderstood, I associated OEM with his 98 installation. Yes, the OEM XP will not
allow upgrades, just clean installs.
