Buying shoes off eBay?

I just picked up a pair of Nike Shox at a local store for $150. Checked eBay, and they have a newer model, the Shox TL, going for about $85. So right now i'm thinking of returning these and buying a new pair off eBay. Is there any reason i shouldn't do this? The sellers seem legit - all with hundreds of positive feedbacks. Oh and one more thing, what's 'deadstock'? And do they come in boxes?

you would think that would work but the way nike makes shoes the size for the same model of shoe isn't precise, and no nike shoes are anywhere near accurate.
