Is that for a manual or automatic?

The most I'd pay is:
$13,944 Honda Accord VP manual
$14,744 Honda Accord VP manual

For what it's worth I would NOT buy an Accord VP, I'd spend the extra $2k and get the LX for $16,244.

Even if this is OT, I just have one question for ya.

How will if feel like to lose 30% of your money as soon as you drive it off the lot? And up to 50% in the first 2 years?

Buy slightly used.... let the previous owner take the hit. Now THAT'S a hot deal.

Um, it's a Honda. Hondas around here, at least, are only losing about 5% of their value each year. Maybe it's different where you are...

I can't agree with that. For quality cars like Hondas, it pays to buy new. Also those new Hyundais with the long warranties don't allow you transfer the warranties unless it's to a family member.

I agree with jonnashville. I've bought brand new Hondas that kept their value better than a Chevy but the overall cost was higher than buying an almost new car for much less. Want an example? The last car I bought was a 9 month old 2000 Nissan Maxima SE with 9kmi in perfect condition. I would had to pay $25,500 for a brand new car with the same options but I paid only $16,700 for the "used car" and have been very happy with my purchase.

FYLEOW, on July 6th's WashingtonPost, one of the local dealers here advertised an Accord EX Auto 4-door for $17,700, YES, EX AUTO FOR $17,700, I called and confirmed that the OUT OF DOOR price is $19,700, includes 6% DC Tax and ALL possible fees they charge, tag of course. Hope this help.
