Congrats on the Civic! The Civic was a very close second to the Mini Clubman as my favorite test drive car. I ended up buying the Fit as it was a bunch cheaper but the Civic is a nice car.

What I wrote before seeing you already bought it:
I've bought two new cars in my life, wrote a personal check for each. No waiting period, no hassles at all, just wrote check like one would for anything else. I tried to put the balance on a CC just to get the rewards. The dealers had a dollar limit on the amount I could put on the CC as they have to pay a fee on the transaction.
