well don't be too picky, just look for a good deal on a clean solid car that somebody took care of, make sure to look at the tires, brakes etc. look for leaks of any kind or odd noises


1996 to 1998 ford taurus/mercury sable is a good starting point, lots of them around, a good value in the used car market , don't buy a older one with the 3.8 v6 engine

looks like a good deal if the car is in good shape
can you afford to make repairs? fixing a saab will not be cheap, turbo repairs???
insurance cost?

the sentra above looks like good deal

get a beater : save the money for insurance or fixing the car you buy, liscense reg, etc.

decide what kind of car you need and go from there?
