i was just reading maxim, where they have a conversation with cosmo... and cosmo writes on the subject of men buying women lingerie:

and this reminded me of a time i had a female friend ask for a bra from victoria's secret... and she was adament in me physically going to the store to buy it, instead of ordering it online or something.
now i figured it was just my friend giving me a hard time because she wanted me to suffer through such an experience, but now i read that the editors of cosmo think the same way? is there a rational explanation for this requirement, or is this just women being sadistic?
