i was just reading maxim, where they have a conversation with cosmo... and cosmo writes on the subject of men buying women lingerie:

and this reminded me of a time i had a female friend ask for a bra from victoria's secret... and she was adament in me physically going to the store to buy it, instead of ordering it online or something.

now i figured it was just my friend giving me a hard time because she wanted me to suffer through such an experience, but now i read that the editors of cosmo think the same way? is there a rational explanation for this requirement, or is this just women being sadistic?

Is going to VS supposed to be embarrassing for a man? I LOVE shopping there, especially if it's not for my secret cross-dressing rituals, but for a woman of my dreams. I like to chat with the clerks and stump them by asking seemingl embarrassing questions such as "Has a man ever walked in here and tried your bras on?" etc.
 
I don't mind going in VS. That way, I can see/feel the material. I don't like stuff that's stiff or can get snagged if my hands are a bit rough if I've been working on stuff or something. Sometimes I take the Mrs...sometimes not.

obviously. and the fact that women don't make sense at all. why do you think women like to get flowers? answer: they don't, they just like to know that they can get a man to spend however much money on something that has no practical use, can be found in the ground for free outside, and will be dead and gone in a week or so. damn they're evil....
 
I'd love to buy something at VS but I'm sure as hell not going to buy it for me! and I don't have anyone else to buy for, so I guess that kind of counts me out!

I have been in a VS store once, it was fun at the time, but when i thought back on it, I went in there with another guy and girl, who were bf/gf at the time, and two very disgusting ones at that. They were helping me get some clothes at old navy and such, then hey, there VS, lets go in there. I roamed around by myself, while they were looking at thongs. **shudder***

But I enjoyed the stuff I was looking at, and that is what counts. I avoid mentioning that excursion to any of my freinds, because they get grossed out when they hear those other two were in VS.

One of these days i will get a gf that will want me to go buy her something and I will do it with pleasure....😀
