buying first SSD

Hi, I'm looking for my first SSD for our everyday desktop. I don't game, but the slow boot up times are annoying on my 500GB HD that I have now. Looking for a modestly price SSD that doesn't suck. Neither of these two seem to be the best of the best, but they are average and good performers for $, especially compared to the mechanical HD I have now. Anyway, what say you???

PNY Optima 240
or
Crucial MX100

Advantage to Best Buy, b/c it's 5 minutes away. Micro Center is a 30 minute drive each way.

crucial just recently replaced the mx100 with the bx100, prices should be the same if you can find that.
Also the mx200 is a little faster, it's going for $115 on amazon right now. I suspect the mx200 will drop to ~$100 soon because the m550 was going for $90 recently.
I personally prefer crucial, but really, most any SSD is fine from a performance perspective

I thought the MX200 was the replacement for the MX100. Not that it really matters at the moment, since both are readily available.

I picked up the 240GB PNY Optima for $79 from Tiger Direct last May for my daughter's computer. Haven't had any problems with it.

MX200 replaces the M550 as their premium consumer SSD
BX100 replaces the MX100 as their budget SSD
really odd how they chose to do this

EDIT: taking a second look over the benchmarks and I really don't see any reason to get the bx100 over the mx100 unless wanting the 0.5W power saving for a laptop. quasi update
