Does anyone know any website that sell good computer desk. I don't want to purchase any of that garbage they sell at office supply stores.

Ikea - low priced and sturdy. Assembly required. However, their online ordering system is a bit primitive.

i've never had any trouble with O'sullivan or Sauder furniture. That's the "garbage" that office supply stores sell.

The main thing is I can't stand is the way they put that slide out tray for the keyboard. Thats not even the proper position for typing. Ihad looked at Ikea's website before I did this post and there site is garbage.

the Cheap Method.
Get 2 file cabinets. Stick a 6 foot countertop on that
Go to office Depot. Get some 2 by 4s, Get some particle Board.
Make a monitor stand about 4 to 6 inches above the desk, put monitors TVs etc on stand, papers and stuff below. If you want to get fancy, use some 2 by 4s above the monitor stand (maybe 20 to 24inch high depending on monitor size) Put a frame and particle board above the Monitors, Put Printer, TV etc there.

Total Cost ... Under $100
Desk has plenty of room for 3 19 (or 21) in CRTs on the monitor stand, as well as printer, TV, and various junk on top, as well as File Cabinet Drawers and below Monitor stands for storage.

EDIT
it looks like crap, but its cheap and sturdy

I don't have a site but I do have a suggestion: get an L-shaped desk.. I bought one from a moving sale for pretty cheap and I absolutely love it. It can accomodate my 19" monitor and if I want to do homework (which is close to never), I just turn 90 degrees in my swiveling chair and there's ample workspace for me to write.

If you're low on funds, you can get a pretty big basic desk for a little under $50 at Ikea. I bought my table top and legs separately and total came out to just under $50. It's nothing special but it's big enough for my computer/monitor and for me to do homework on.

I have an L-Shaped workspace, but I did it a cheap way. I used an old desk that I already had, and I bought a 6 foot banquet table for 40 bucks. Connected the two to make an "L" and it works fine for me. I have to say, it looks pretty damn good. YOu can't beat 40 bucks. :D
