Hacked account = guarantee you that's what it is. Buy it and see how the seller reacts, if he says for you to send him Western Union to Nigeria you know what to do...

If this was the going rate on ebay ppl will buy and sell it off to make 300-400% profit

and i bought my car off ebay. the guy was about an hour from here. i drove to see it before i bid. i offered him cash to end the auction. he said no. i paid $54.00 more than i offered him and he got stuck with $85.00 extra in ebay fees.

that was four years ago. i still have the car. i want to sell it now. shame, cause it is a great car. but i got something newer and have too many cars laying around already.

I just bought a 1970 Corvette Stingray off ebay last month. I knew it's problems so when I got it there were no surprises.

I bought a truck from eBay a few years back. Was a decent little truck and I got what I paid for. The biggest thing is to research your sellerand the vehicle. I pulled a carfax report on the vehicle. It checked out ok and there were a ton of pictures in the auction listing so I feel I was able to get a pretty good look at it. The guy I bought from had sold several vehicles on eBay and I could tell was legit. I also emailed several of his past customers and asked then about the vehicles they had bought. If they'd had troubles from defects hidden at the time of sale, ect. Everyone came back with positive responces.

I bought my truck 2 yrs ago off of a guy who had it listed on eBay. I went and checked it out first because his starting bid was low with no reserve. There was no bids on it yet so he sold it to me for the starting bid and ended his auction. I got a great deal. I was about $3000 under retail value. He was happy he didn't have to pay the final sale fees.

I'm not sure why anybody wouldn't end an auction if they get what they wanted for it outside of the auction. You can avoid some hefty fees. Greed I guess.
