768 x 1024 pixels I wouldn't bother this one.
If its brand new in the box then its not tied to any account, otherwise if you start it and go to settings>accounts>google and just remove any account.

I think TD Bank's been running promotions giving this away if you sign up for a chequeing account which is why he probably doesn't have a receipt.

However I don't think the price is really good judging by historical prices.

During boxing days it was selling new for $200 but all the retailers ran out of stock very quickly. They are now available again but the price is $279 plus 15% taxes.

Anyway, this is to replace my IPad mini first generation witch I find incredibly slow and prone to crashing. For exemple, Chrome will crash 5 or 6 times in an evening worth of use. Safari is not quite as bad but still has to reload web pages several times due to "problems". I am hoping this newer Samsung Tab A tablet will be faster and more stable. As for the screen resolution, my Ipad mini is good enough for me so the Tab A, 8" would be good enough also.

This has a snapdragon 410 soc, its more of a low end soc, coupled with touchwiz... you're in for a world of hurt.
