buying a power source

my friends PSU just went out

i told him antec and enermax are good brands, but they seem a bit spendy for him

he has CD rom, CD burner, 2 HDD's, floppy drive, 4X80mm case fans with blue LED's on each

a cheap 40 dollar or so vid card, an AMD athlon 1.66GHz, and 256 RAM.

um you can get a quality antec for not very much dough. if you want to spent less, then get fortron or sparkle.

I agree with Sentinel, you can go to this web site and add all the hardware he has to calculate how much wattage he needs. I think you may even get away with buying a quality 300w power supply.
