buying a pottery wheel.

alright, my old wheel broke after I had it for 6 years. I won it at a competition back in High School. Now I am shopping for them and a 'decent' one is about $400. That's NOT even a good one ($600). Does anyone know where to get a deal on these or does anyone have a gently used one they are willing to sell for a good price?

craigslist had one (kiln and wheel for $500 obo) but the guy never responded to my query.

same price, more work, less accuracy. Plus not many companies make them. Lots of work goes into them and it's more expensive than a cheap rig with a 1hp motor.
