I'm anticipating on buying a car in the next 2 to 3 weeks and i"m wondering, if I can still buy a car if I don't have insurance.
I'm still searching, so I won't know if I will buy through a dealer or a private party...however, the last time I bought a car from the dealer, my salesman almost went nuts when I told him I forgot to bring my proof of insurance. He said he won't let me take the car. In the end, I had to call my agent for them to fax over my proof of insurance.
This time, I don't have car insurance since I don't have a car.
So how will this work? If I don't have insurance, what do I need to do? do I ask my insurance company to give me insurance, even before I buy a car
