I have a budget of about $4000 CANADIAN to work with, what cars on the market would be a good catch for that amount of money, if any. And what are some good Canadian car dealerships I can look at online?
Any input is welcomed!
Thanks

yeah, get out of canada.

frankly, Most of our advice has to be broad, because car values vary depending on location. That and i have no idea what 4K canadian equals out to.

Get a 1st generation (1990-1994) Eclipse, Talon, or Laser, but make sure it's a Turbo... You probably won't find one with low mileage, but I've seen 130k mile cars go for about $3,000 US or less. The only thing to watch out for is the timing belt, be SURE it was changed every 60k miles.

I'd say keep saving up. From what I've seen in the local Auto
Trader's (local being Ontario) in your price range the best you're
going to do is get a 8-10 year old Honda or Toyota with high
mileage. Not exactly a great option.

However you should be able to get a 4-7 year old decent car (such
as an Integra, Talon, Accord, Probe...) with reasonable mileage
(just over 100k KM) in the $6000-8000 range.

He isn't going to find a Eagle Talon TSi AWD in his price range,
unless it has incredibly high mileage and has been in a
severe fiery accident. The lowest I've seen TSi AWD's going for
is around $7200-8200 Canadian.

argh...

don't get that talon/eagle/eclipse.

I don't have the time or energy to really explain... but if someone in general hardware told a newbie "get rambus, its the newest and greatest from intel" I wouldn't bother with his post either. Its just plain horribly wrong. To the point where it shows extreme ignorance.
