That in itself is why the 660Ti is 1 full class below the HD7950/670 cards.

Absolutely I see the GTX 660ti as a full class below the GTX 670 -- that is why it is priced cheaper. The product sku is feature rich, efficient and offers competitive 299 dollar performance. Is it better value than a GTX 670 -- one can make the argument either way depending on what is important to each individual.

When over-clocking is entered into the discussion - AMD has great potential, more flexibility over-all and very compelling.

Allow the market to decide what gamers desire.

The 660 Ti is too cut-down. To the contrary, anyone that got a 660 Ti should have buyer's remorse for not getting an HD 7950 instead.

I would think that the person that buys either product may enjoy their purchase and enjoy the specific strengths of the company's offerings.

If one doesn't like the GTX 660ti -- no one is forcing anyone to purchase the product. If the HD 7950 is a no brainer -- then the market may embrace the sku and AMD may reap the rewards - great.

It's buyers remorse only if you really didn't "need" to buy it in the first place. It's buyers remorse if you just scratched an itch and bought one. Well, possibly anyway. I think most buyers remorse comes from these two reasons. The third would be spending too much when you didn't need to. The 670 gives good price/performance. The 660Ti even more so if you play at medium resolutions (16x10 or 19x10).
