If you feel tempted to take advantage of favorable exchange rates and a lack of taxes when ordering from Canadian sites, you may want to reconsider. I ordered two items from a reputable Canadian site, dragon.ca. I spent an extra 2 USD to have it shipped via airmail, which was rated as "2 - 7 days to any address in the U.S." The first item took a little less than 2 weeks to arrive. The second item, which was shipped last Wednesday, still hasn't arrived yet. This is all rather frustrating, because my house is about a 5 hour drive from where the package was shipped (Toronto). And the situation isn't helped much by the fact that the Canadian postal service offers no form of package tracking.
I have no complaints against the site itself, but the time that it takes for a package shipped from Canada to arrive here in the U.S. takes a lot longer than it should.
Next time, I think I'll pay the extra $10 and get software at Best Buy. Just some advice.
