Buyer asking for Dell Order number.

So I sold someone a Dell monitor on Ebay. He apparently has a Dell system already and was asking me to transfer the warranty of the monitor to him. I didn't see a problem with this so I was just give me the Service Tag and Express code when you get it.
I get an e-mail saying the monitor doesn't have either and in order to transfer the warranty to him he needs my order number for the monitor.

Is it ok to give it to him or should I be worried about some kind of scam?

No order number for him, you do not need it, and he should not have access to your order number anyway, as that gives him roundabout access to your payment method.
