With the recent developments in Japan, memory prices will dramatically jump. For the last 15 years, the Japanese have used previous earthquakes and other disaters as an unverifiable excuse to raise prices on computer memory.

Why is the excuse unverifiable? I'm pretty sure everyone is aware the earthquake was real. The excuse is definitely verifiable. And why is this a hot deal?
 
I don't know... if memory is $X now and will be $X.2 or more soon... it could be a hot deal to buy now...

Still, I thought everything was made in China?! =)
