My gf has an S3, and she's had an Inc 2. I used an Inc S (same thing), I have an SGS2, Nexus S and Motorola Milestone.

Compared to my gf's SGS3, my SGS2's BLN notification looks elegant. It may be hers is white, but it bleeds.

Either way, even with the blue one, the light is fat and ugly. Compare this to the HTC LEDs and the Motorola ones. HUGE difference. If you watched the video I linked, its clear bleeding. The backlight for the keys also bleeds significantly on my gf's SGS3.

Must be an issue with the white one then.

After the first day I completely turned off the backlight keys. I mean it's only two buttons, there's really need to keep having a reminder light up showing you which is which.

But even on the blue one I'd argue the light is bigger than it needs be. The one they have on Moto phones is perfect and unobtrusive. As someone mentioned before the LEd light is so bright on the S3 you get a annoying glow at night in your room.

It might be ok for some or whatever, but relative to what's out there with HTC and Motorola, I think Samsung could've done a better job.
