X-Plan prices were increased on May 1/2002, $150. for Ford and $250. for Lincoln/Mercury. This price increase was not announced on the Ford Partners site. Luckily I purchased my Ford Focus with the X-Plan on April 29th. Not all rebates can be used with the X-Plan. I'm not sure about the college grad rebate, but I could not use a $400. high school grad rebate with the X-Plan. With the X-Plan price increase, current rebates plus grad rebates, and price negotiation, you may be able to get a better deal without the X-Plan.

<Bump> for last chance to apply. Must be faxed in by Sunday, 6/30, to get a PIN number and be able to buy via X-Plan pricing.

Does anyone know how long the PIN number is valid? In other words, when I get the PIN, how long do I have before I have to use it? I'll need another car around the end of the year when my daughters start driving, and so I wonder if it will still be useable then.

I faxed in my application about a week ago, and I still haven't heard anything yet. How long did it take to get the PIN in the email?

thanks,
Rich

FishHawk, according to their site, the PIN is good for 12 months. Although they have the right to modify the program at any time.

RichardYcc, I faxed my app on Tuesday and had a PIN via email by late Thursday.

Yes, and no. SVT vehicles CAN be sold on X-Plan pricing, but the dealer doesn't have to accept the sale at that price. In other words, you're probably SOL.
