Buy Ford Focus, Expedition, Explorer = Free Dell w/ Flatscreen + $3000 rebate

Anyone have more info on the Dell portion of this deal and who's offering it? My wife's 2000 Focus just hit 90k and she's got about $400-500 worth of service that needs to be done. If she can get decent trade-in value for hers we could probably get away with ~$200/month payments for 4 years + a new computer.

Now I have to convince her that $200/month is likely cheaper than her car falling apart after she hits 100k in 6 months.

Being a male, and thus having the logic portion of my brain intact, that makes perfect sense to me 😉 Good luck with the convincing!

Toyota Corolla basic model is about the same price as this. Plus it get 40MPG. You'd save enough in Gas prices in a year to buy a high end computer.

A Ford? Piece of junk. Would never buy a Ford.

I was waiting for that...it was only a matter of time.

You don't agree?

Wellll...I'm no die-hard Ford fanboy and I'm not going to sit here and try to claim that they are the world's best built automobiles, but the Mustang is one of my favorite cars of all time and I absolutely adore my 94 GT. I'm still in the "go fast" stage and right now owning a refined car isn't very important to me. I want something with a delicously throaty V8 growl that's inexpensive to modify so that it can be very fast, and the GT fills that void nicely. It's also very reliable. Sure, it doesn't hold its value like a Toyota or have the build quality of an Acura or the exclusivity of a Porsche, but I didn't buy it for those qualities. 🙂

As for trucks, the F-150 is a nice truck IMO, but aside from the F-150 and the Mustang, I don't care for too many other Ford vehicles.

So no, I don't think that all Fords are junk, but yes some are. The quality control is less than spectacular, though Ford's QC looks stellar compared to Chrysler/Dodge.

I'll agree with you on the Mustang. I would love to get my hands on a 1965 Shelby Mustang GT-350, a 1967 Shelby Mustang GT-350 or GT-500. Now those were some nice cars back in the day.

I just saw a local Portland, OR commercial showing a FREE Dell PC with LCD and printer.

No mention of a $3,000 rebate though.

Bump for a pretty good Ford deal. I've got a '93 Ford Tempo that I use as a backup for my WRX. It's got 160k miles on it and runs like a champ with no major maintenance and still gets 27+mpg. Sometimes it's not about speed, looks, or spinner wheels....

I'll never by Ford no matter how good the deal is. You'll be paying lot more than $3000 and time to repair it.
It's a peice sh!t. (IMO)
