You multiply the numbers together and move the decimal place 6 notches to the left.
Once you get above 1.3mp, manufactures start fudging it a bit... 1280x1024 is 1.3mp res, and that works out almost perfect.
the resolution of a 2.1 mp camera is 1600x1200, which is REALLY only 1.92MP. This gets worse every time you go up in MP.
I'm not sure, but it looks like this one doesn't have one of those cool LCD viewfinders. Those are all the rage now-a-days. Haha. But it might be worthwhile for people like me (who don't even have the extra money to subscribe to these forums). Too bad it's gonna end soon.
I got it on some big auction site (I don't think we are supposed to talk about it) for $25 new. It usually sells for about 30 plus expensive shipping (12) there.
