buy.com has the opteron 144 boxed processor in stock and there is a 10 dollar off coupon..if you select the free budget shipping it comes to 142.99 with the coupon applied..its easy to find just search google..its a $10 off 150..they are also running $15 off 200 if you feel like spending more

Ordered one also. I've been on the verge of buying one a few times but missed the early days and was not willing to pay a premium to try this chip. At this price ($143 shipped), it's a GO. Thanks.

Just think of it as the same thing as an A64 San Diego core. 1mb cache. They are good for gaming. Assuming you get the right one.

this is lame...i applied for their card only to soley get the 25.00 off which is actully 30.00 then you get all the way to the check out and it says oh we are sorry your not eligible for this

well i guess im not ordering...There was a reason I stopped buying there...buncha false advertising.

Thanks OP! Well, I ordered one and I am still at "Processing" (Buy.com order status: processing, ordered, shipped) No email yet. Update: Sent To Warehouse.

PS: After looking at resellerratings.com I canceled.... Six-Month Rating: 2.95

I got an email around 6pm yesterday saying that they had insufficient stock (after I ordered at 10am... PSH). So I cancelled my order. I don't think I really need a 7th rig... :-/

Buy.com still says "In Stock: Usually Ships in 1 to 2 business days."for the 144 Optys but the emails we are getting say otherwise. I canceled but it still shows "Cancellation requested." They have a very low score at resellerratings. One of their automatic emails said, "We can also email you our phone number if you're in a hurry to reach us. We really appreciate your business."
