I found the same card on pricematch.com for
$54 + $5(UPS shipping) = Total of $59.
So this deal isn't that hot.

Update : I meant to say pricewatch.com, sorry about that.

Hmmm they have a 6.1 rating with 11 reviews, not a bad find. I guess this one is officially a COLD deal :(.

geez, so much hostility.. I personally just like knowing what the buy.com DOTD is without having to go to the friggin site. I figure if the deal doesn't appeal to you, why go through the effort to bash it without even saying why?

Just a thought..

Some people aren't mature enough to do anything other than threaten you and claim you "suck", rather than explaining WHY they think the DEAL stinks rather than you...

TWEAK: Turn on your PM's! They're the only way people can tell you important things that can't normally be posted such as *cough*coupons*cough* or *cough*privately telling you a few suggestions*cough*. They're basically an in-forum email...

Why do people ALWAYS start with them off, anyway?!

In my opinion, no GeForce2 MX card is a deal. The MX is crap.. remember, it's a GeForce2 GTS that's been neutered: two of the four pipelines have been severed. And it's only 32MB, NON-DDR.. the GTS is DDR. Huge huge difference. Those who own MX cards can testify that the card bottlenecks when there's a lot going on on the screen. Check out my rig. it's not half bad, and on Giants I get about 25fps max at 800x600x32. On busy scenes, it drops to 9fps. Sadness. 12.41 drivers too. My GeForce3 is on the way, should have it by next week... :)

how cheap is cheap?

$100 GeForce2 GTS would be a good choice, heck i'll even sell you a brand new one ;)
