dude that looks nothing like an emachine and emachine's has not made a celery 500 since 2 models ago! Also emachines does not call their comps Racers. Talk about a ghetto name!

Anyways they are not sold out yet but they havent put it up yet, this usually happens between 12:00-3:00 am pst! I hate when juniors do this tryin to be the first to post, Somtimes they change it before they actually make it DOTD. While i am probably sure this will be the DOTD it may not and remember to not post until it actually is the DOTD (orderable) Also please remember to put the date in the title, junior!

Perhaps it is not such a crap deal to some. I guess I am

The $399 emachines has a 566 celeron, 7.5 GB HD, and only 32 MB memory, but you can add more memory real cheap right now.

I dunno, I thought it was a pretty good deal. After coupon it is $320, free shipping, and no tax. I can't build a system that cheap. It has a three year warranty (who know's how good that is), and when combined with that $125 17" Dell monitor I got from Buy.com yesterday, I have a complete system for $445. Hard to find that anywhere. I'm gonna leave it in the box, and next time someone comes to me for a computer I'll give them that for $500. We'll both be happy!

Oh yeah, the system comes with Win98SE. That costs almost $100 itself. I never pirate software, especially OS's, so that means you get the hardware it self for a little over $200. Can't be THAT bad, as long as it works...

Yeah, I'm running on a celleron 400 right now (thunderbird system is upstairs...)that basically came with everything that is in that system for $1000 a good while back oh and it had a monitor... I play quake 3 on this system with a $70 upgrade on the video card and it runs just fine.. matter of fact I would say its pretty good.

For a cheap system that isn't crap(this stuff isn't too bad.. 64 megs instead of 32 500 mhz.. acceptable hard drive.. cdrom is ok.. win98 with it.. for under $350 this is a good deal.. best buy.com dotd since the kingston ram..
