not to worry. Buy.com has been offering rebate deals on various Creative products, incl. web cams, ear phones, etc. It will come around again. Personally I would stay away from the wide-angle cams. I got the Creative WebCam Ultra with wide-angle lens with rebate 2 months ago, and the picture quality was inferior to the cheap WebCam Live, with a grainy, fuzzy (impossible to achieve sharp focus) picture, and significant peripheral distortion. The good side is that Creative has been very good with redeeming their rebates (I must've gotten 10 rebates in the last 10 years, ranging from $20 - 100 each).
 
Though I've already used Google Checkout before to get $10 off, I just selected Google checkout when I ordered the webcam and it automatically took $10 off. Nice thing is my buy.com receipt doesn't show the $10 off, so when I get the rebate check, I'll have made $7 on the deal.
