buy.com coupons combined with rebates

Had to buy a scanner to get this, but
I ended up with a Yamaha sub/sat combo
for 3.45 shipped.

The Yamaha YSTM30? 30 watt sub/satellite combo
buy.com lists at 53.45

I had been wanting one of these superthin
Canon Scanners so I could free up some deskspace
and buy.com already had the best shipped price
on that item, not even taking coupons into account.

So I ordered the Canon N656U Scanner that is the
TINIEST scanner ever and the COOLEST looking one
to boot for 110.00





Needs no power cord, just usb and I can slide
it in my briefcase, it's about as big as a 2 subject
notebook

Added the Yamaha speaker system for 53.45

Took 30 off 150 for returning customers
Plus the Yamaha rebate is 20 more off

So I got the Scanner for 110 and the Speakers for 3.45
and I am just thrilled to death with both of em.
and shipping was free.

For once, buy.com actually shipped all the items I ordered
without the usual, we're sorry, you missed out email.

We need to support buy.com when we can, I like those guys
despite their shortcomings and would like to see them
stick around even after they run out of money

Hmm, guess I am confused on what the HOT DEALS forum is for.

I posted the best price on the net on the hottest scanner out right now,
and followed it up with how to get a nice Yamaha Speaker/Sub combo for around 3 bucks,
and that is "Not" a hot deal??????

Either item by itself would be a hot deal, but I put em together and I'm off topic.

Oh well, whatever

Yhea, I feel the same way. I love buy.com and very scared that they will not exist soon. I even ordered all the Harry Potter books from them even though it was slightly more from them just to help them out... but they sent me two complete orders (called and cancel my order two minutes after placing it and told them I had the wrong shipping address in it.. had the guy change it and then cancel the first and the moron sent both anyways)... still have to call and yell at them. Similiar stuff has happened to me with them in the past few weeks. I think there service is going down a lot... anyone else think that???
