just a question since I'm clueless about wireless technology...this router should work in conjunction with any brand wireless pc card right? I got a Netgear one from Amazon a few days ago for free...dunno why, I canceled my order but they sent me the card anyway without charging me.

It will work with any brand wireless card as long as the card is 802.11b, which yours probably is.
