Six armed plain clothed officers arrest a coed for buying water?

Tell me again how the current USA differs from the old East Germany?

Uno

i don't see a west germany around here with a wall in front of it.

Here's an idea, restrict plains clothes to unarmed surveillance with real officers armed and in uniform standing nearby waiting for an order to make their move.

This refusal to identify themselves gets people on both sides killed. Sadly, it's all too often their victim that panics and dies.

I would've floored the pedal, regardless of who was in front, then sued for emotional distress and won millions.

Shoot to kill, for suspected alcohol? Lol. I'd love to see that lawsuit. Cops shot at some old chicks who they thought were Chris Dorner, and they're set for life.

no. at that point alcohol does not matter. the fact they would claim she tried to kill them with a weapon. they would also win any lawsuit filled.

hell they tried to claim she assaulted them with it.

i think the cops over reacted. they could have done it much better and safer then having a bunch of guys in dark clothing run up to her. I don't blame her for freaking out and getting scared.

This news story comes straight out of a police state.

I would support these woman opening fire to defend themselves from a mob of plain clothes men who then proceed to harass, assault, and damage property. Castle Law in some states applies to your vehicle.

And TEXAS is one of them. I like to think having laws like this on the books might make officers think before they act once in a while. I know, I'm a dreamer and stuff.

ridiculous story, but what I find most ridiculous is the fact you have something called "state Alcoholic Beverage Control agents"... does teenagers drinking beer really warrant wasting taxpayer money on assaulting young women for buying water?

them's some fucked up priorities 'murica.

Where do they find people to become officers these days.

"We just pulled over another short bus"

"Great, bring in the recruits..."

agree. those cops were fucking mentally deficient fucking fucking idiots deserving to be run over by the terrified girl. even if they had bought 10 gallons of vodka the approach of the cops is completely un fucking justifiable. i would be happy if she had accidentally crushed all of the cops under her suv tires as she peeled out in panic due to the cops clusterfuck dumbass ninja immature and fucking stupid tactics

fuck that police state shit pisses me off

you know what, this story confirms that the USA is totally batshit insane off the rails nightmare land where you should expect to be terrorized by govt at any time for no reason whatsoever

"The woman was on edge after spending the night listening to stories from dozens of sexual assault survivors at an annual "Take Back the Night" vigil on Grounds"

This is exactly the kind of emotional hysteria I am talking about. Would they have reacted differently if they weren't already all hyped up talking about men raping them? I bet their over reactions had something to do with the "friendly" little man hating rape powwow they just left.

In another recent topic I pointed out paranoid women with a CCP walk around with their hands in their purses whenever another man approaches them and probably have shot men to death who were only going to their cars and later lied about them trying to rape or attack them.
