I read the blog on KOS when this first popped up. I spent about 30 minutes reformatting the article for email and sent it off to my address book. A few days later buyblue.org started up, I guess I should've waited and simply sent the link.

Anyway... to report. All members of my family used the list for christmas purchases, including myself. I spent about $800 on gifts this year so hopefully that'll add up. My folks are letting the Sam's membership lapse and have mapped out the nearest Costco locations. My girlfriend was once an avid Victoria's Secret shopper, she can't even walk into the store now. I guess it's Frederick's of Hollywood time for her. 😛

Beer might be the only thing left that Canada is definitely better than America at producing. When I hear Americans talk about how much better Molson Canadian or Labatt Blue is than what they drink on a regular basis, and then think about how bad they are compared to the other 'standard-price' and cheaper beers... I don't have too much doubt about that one.

We can't even lay an unchallengable claim on hockey players anymore (though I think we're likely still in the lead by a hair).
