It is fun to watch this "simpleton" owned the CNN reporter on the issues of gun control and god.

This interview points out the absurdities of gun control laws and the hatred that the liberal media has for "god" in America.

The reporter has no comebacks for the mans points regarding gun control so she changes the subject of the conversation to attacking this mans belief in god and gets owned at that.

Sorry if I am being vague but you should just watch the video.

No wonder CNN is seeing record drops in its ratings.

Well myself I think using God and Guns to sell trucks in a podunk region of America makes sense. I also think giving out GC's to Hooters would work well too.

I went to one website, and their AK-47 prices range from $400 to $750.

BTW, God is not a liberal vs conservative issue. Insisting that everyone believes what you believe is a liberal vs conservative issue.

He's not really in a podunk area. He's right outside of the Kansas City Metro area. And from what I've heard, he's a hell of a good guy to buy from.

I liked how the reporter had a problem with it being an AK47 verses a standard hunting rifle (she didn't specifically say that but that's the impression I got). The AK47's he's giving away are semi-automatic, just like hunting rifles. The AK47 shoots the same ammo that a lot of hunting rifles. It just looks like an AK47.

I think she just hears AK47 and assumes "omg automatic commie death machine".

He's got a great selling schtick and he really handled the situation pretty calmly. I hope he does well in his business.

But I do have to say that the idea of an AK-47 for "home defense" was a horrible rebuttal. Handguns are fine. Shotguns are fine. But a rifle? Wrong tool for the job unless you are on your rooftop and fending off a Russian invasion. Or zombies. Because they attack in bunches too.

The AK47 is a great gun. I have a Romanian variant and I just love how it feels when it shoots.

And for home defense, in my opinion, there is no such thing as overkill. The AK47 has something like a 94% kill rate for a chest shot. Taking guns away from the public just makes sure that the criminals have unfettered access to these weapons. Look at Chicago, this city is so messed up regarding guns. Guns are outright banned in the city unless you own one from like the '60s. We have one of the worst murder rates in the states and there's not a day that goes by without some sort of shooting. The gun ban simply hasn't worked. All it did was take guns away from law abiding citizens and gave them to the criminals. Now, a regular Joe has to rely on the Chicago police (what a joke they are) for their own safety. You have to rely on yourself first to provide for your own safety THEN on others.

You can't own a fully automatic weapon in the US without going through so many hurdles and paying so many fees anyways. All automatic guns come locked in semi-automatic firing mode. You can (illegally) modify the gun to be fully automatic, but you run the risk of destroying the gun permanently. Like I said, getting it fully automatic legally is a pain in the ass and it's just not worth it.

That was a gutwrenching interview - seemed extremely low budget and non-thought through. Poor job by the newscaster... CNN does seem to be going downhill fast the past couple of years.

The car dealer was pretty much right - its not like they are handing out guns, they are giving vouchers to go to a gunshop and get your gun legally after a background check. And its true that almost all guns used in crime are NOT bought legally after background checks - they are bought illegally by criminals.

Patranus, I am just glad you posted an article that wasn't blindly bashing Obama or the left. +1

If I was shopping for a truck, and this guy has comparable prices to other dealers AND he gives out free AK47s with the purchase of a truck.. well, it's a no brainer!! What guy wouldn't want something cool like that? 😀
