*Also, www.clubit.com has a lot of them at different prices, you might want to search there as well.

Be careful about the "deals" here... evga for example has 4 different versions of the card at different speeds and different price ranges... so just because something seems like a better deal doesn't mean it really IS.

A direct copy of a post I made in the appropriate thread in Hot Deals:

EVGA 8800GT KO for ~$270 at mwave. Not a great deal perhaps, but then again it's not a bad price for a KO model on launch day given what other sites such as newegg are asking for the Superclocked models.

Reported in stock as of 10-29-07 6:15pm EST

You shoulda seen it 2+ months ago when they gouged us on Q6600 quads.

Yea, probably same thing here. Price has jumped again since I checked it a few hours ago. People say it's an automatic price adjustment based off demand. I don't buy it.

They must have control, at minimum a cap on how high something will "automatically" adjust.

Pre-ordered the BFG OC version at Fry's. More than the EVGA but you know there is a LONG line for that EVGA pre-order. But if it doesn't ship out by Wednesday I'm going to have call and cancel, because I ordered with 2nd day and I want it by Friday.

Damn, if you can get the OC2 edition (700/2000/1750) that would probably be the best deal, because from what I've seen from reviews, OCing is a very mixed bag, with some only OCable up to 660ish, and others over 700.

God I feel good for buying eVGA 8800GT Superclock for $249.....I just hope its still a good deal by the time ATI 3800 comes out >.<

worst come to worse - return? lol

Have you noticed that every site won't give you a 30 day refund on these cards? I wonder if it's because nvidia thinks it could be better? Or the fact they have a faster card coming out?
