This sort of off topic, but macy's is gonna have some good stuffy on Saturday i presume. Buy 1 get 1 free suits. Last time they had this, I got a really nice Alfani 4 button suit for 170 after tax and everything! Might wanna check it out. Sizes run out fast though, so you might have to go early in the morning...well..that's what i did.
 
Can anyone confirm? I'd like in on the good deal....need a nice suit to look presentable for interviews.
 
Buy one get one free is ok for batteries and zip disks, but what kinda quality are we talkin here?
 
dude, i need more info on this too. i definitely would like to get 2 suits.

alfani makes pretty nice clothes too. i have a nice sweater vest by alfani.
 
Most department stores like Macy's carry very nice lines of Men's Suits. 🙂 But let's hope that they don't limit this special to only the lower-end suits. 😉
 
Ok...last time had this deal last year, the selection was more limited because these are sale items. However, there were still a lot of nice suits! Me and my roomate split the buy one get one free, hence I only paid 170. He got a really nice 4 button claiborne suit and i got a really nice 4 button alfani suit. The 4 buttons do cost more even though they are on sale, but i still got a really good deal! THe sale is only one day..on saturday. Friday is supposed to be the preview day. I guess it might depend on which macy's you go to. I went to the one in union square in SF and that was huge, hence they probably had a bigger selection.
 
Alfani stuff is nice. I wonder if they Liz Claiborne casual suits will be on sale. I wish I had more reasons to wear mine. 🙂
 
that's a pretty good deal. I'd better pop by Macy's and see what things they'll have in stock for saturday. thanks for the heads-up.
 
I went this morning but they only had a half dozen suits my size. The buy 1 get 1 free offer is only on suits that are already on clearance.
 
I just got back from the Macy's here in San Antonio, Tx. Wow they had several hundred suits to choose from... the only bad part for me is i'm kinda small and most of the suits were size 40-48. I found several in my size (38) though and picked up a nice kenneth cole and an alfani suit for $360 with tax. Not bad because each was marked close to $450 before sale price.
 
A good deal is when someone you know works at Macy's and can get the same deal plus a 20% discount off that for being an employee, and another 20% off because her department did the best sales for the previous month. I got a Alfani suit normally marked at $450 for $140+ tax...

She had to buy it for me as a "gift" and then I paid her back to get that discount however 😉
 
Stopped by Macy's this afternoon to check out the sale. I already have enough suits but was in the market for a couple of sportjackets. As mentioned earlier, the under-40 sizes were hard to find, but I got a Kenneth Cole and a Perry Ellis. They're OK names, but they were $295 each before the sale, then marked down to $199 each. So they're a good deal at $100 apiece with the Buy 1/Get 1 Free deal.

Hadn't planned on it, but on the way out I also bought a pillow and comforter for $62.
 
is this for saturday only? I just saw the post and its 10pm where i am so macy's is probably closed by now

wow. and i though i had a good deal. seems like you guys had better deals than me! and yes..this was saturday only.
 
more like 310 so it was like 150 something and then tax and stuff. paid 10 bucks for alterations. oh..got 10% off cuz opened macy's account. I split with my roomate.
 
Yea tax is a bummer. I didn't get the alterations because I can get it free, my g/f's mother owns a shop that does that stuff. 🙂
