Butterflies make good heatsinks

It basically comes down to this..

A, most people will see a heatsink that looks like a butterfly, and assume it's nothing more then a gimmick and immediately move on.

Or B, will find a heatsink that isn't shaped like a butterfly (because that?s dumb after all) that offers similar performance at similar price, of which there are plenty.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

sorry i just had to laugh at that comment

next thing you know the Olsen Twins & Martha Stewart will be selling heat sink fans.

I would buy one of those in a femtosecond.

Think about it. An "Olsen Twins" heatsink would be formed of RIDICULOUSLY THIN plates, and not weigh much of anything. Perfect for lanparties!

And ms. Stewart? I hear she's so fridgid that her heatsinks would put Vapochill out of buisness.

Please, please, please grow up. Others have said this already, but it bears repeating: please grow up.

On another note, I think it's a really cute little bit of kit. It's nice to see a manufacturer try to dress up their products with something other than ricer LED's, although I guess Apack is still guilty of that as well. Shame about the fan, though.

How does thinking that cutesy, pink, metal butterfly is very, very, very, very gay(approaching clay akin status gay) make me immature? I just happen to prefer a cool laser show mounted upon my manly Thermaltake Big Typhallus.

It's copper-colored... because it's copper. Just like the aluminum version is the color of aluminum.

What makes you immature is that you've gone all through this thread bitching and moaning about how "gay" an inanimate object is, in a manner most befitting a 12 year old.
