I feel like I was just raped by Patrick Ewing!

Spent the last 5 nights at a hotel and they had SCOTT SINGLE PLY toilet paper. Finally home and started really feeling the pain today. My ass has been pretty much rubbed raw, thank god I'm finally home and back with my Charmin Ultra Soft.

Seriously, TP is one of the few things that I absolutely can not be cheap about. Charmin or Cottenelle are a MUST in my house, and any place that doesn't offer that offends me.

Been using the single-ply Scotts for as long as I can remember. The plush/soft brands you mention always seem to bust through for me. 🙁
 
I hate double ply - it tears and breaks too easily. Give me some cheap one-ply that's like a fine grit sandpaper - that's where it's at.

try a month using either a portapotty or toilets in the barracks (both with the same shitty 1 ply paper).

Raw does not begin to describe the situation. Getting home, my throne really felt like I was royalty getting pampered. 😀

I used the shitty Scott single ply for four years in college, because that's what was provided in the dorm restrooms. I am barracks-tough. 😉

I must say, a month is nothing compared to more lengthy training. So I cannot complain.

I've always had the benefit of personal restrooms in dorms. Dorm freshman year was a triple with a very run-down, but yet in-room bathroom with small shower.
Last two years (and next year) I've been in an apartment-style dorm, with the two two-person rooms having very nice bathrooms. Get to buy our own, and we treat our rear. 😀
