But the sign said "WALK"

There was a big thread about this a year or two ago when it happened... I think it was in Ohio? I think the guy lived, but was severely injured.

Based on the cars stopped at the light, I'm pretty sure the sign did NOT say "walk"

IIRC the light was red for something crazy like 17 seconds before the PT Cruiser ran it. Pretty stupid on both sides.

He did survive, I read it on Snopes (I think it was Snopes?). Anyway the dent in the side of the car that was hit prevented him from being crushed to death.
