But he was such a tiny kitty cat.

Both of my cats are huge. One is ~18lbs, and the other about 16lbs I think.

18lbs. His skull is like that of a Maine my excellent compatriot.
~16lbs.

I can't tell if its overweight. But 14 lbs is a bit heavy unless it is structurally large.

You say it eats like a horse... how can it eat like a horse unless you feed it like a horse? Do you do timed meals or do you just put a gallon of food out every 3 days? Dry or wet food?

Wow, what a cool looking cat. He doesn't look like he sheds much. What kind is he?

2 of my 3 cats are about 4 lbs heavier than they should be. I feed them measured amounts of good weight control food twice a day, and it has only managed to keep them from getting fatter than they already are.

My cat has lost weight in his old age, but he used to weigh around 14 pounds of serious, hard packed, muscle. You could smack him on the side when he was laying down and hear a solid thud. He was literally packed like a healthy and active dog.

Now he's like Jack Lalane in his retirement. 14 years old and still plenty active out doors, but just not as built.

Is it dry food? If it's not one of the more natural / expensive brands then it is likely to do that. A lot of cheap foods make their "diet" food just have more carbs and less protein, which makes the cat eat more in addition to being an unhealthy amount of carbs. I had a lot of success with switching to a high protein wet diet. My fat cat lost about 2 lbs on this. Though the skinny one (actually they were both fat before, but this one started out skinny coming from the humane society) has remained the same.

I'm assuming you're asking me. No clue, we got him from one of the animal shelters adoption clinics.

As for his weight he is a big framed cat but he is a bit pudgy, we have him on the Iams kitten.

We also have another cat who has problems keeping weight on. He'll vary between 8 and 10 lbs. 10lbs is his ideal weight and since he's been eating ChooChoo's food he's been keeping to his weight.
Mind you he's had some health problems with kidney stones(iirc). At one point it damn near killed him.
He's been a lot better lately but he still gets those black scan things around his eyes and some occasional bloody pee. Oh yeah obligatory picture.

You need to stop feeding your cat chocolate ding dongs. That cat's gonna have a stroke any day now.

Found him in a snow bank 4 years ago behind the place where I work. Frozen solid his temperature was 25 degrees below normal. Cost $300 to get him back to normal but well worth it

He weighed like a lb or something. This was in June.

ChooChoo as an Adult.
14lbs and eats like a horse. The scary part is he's only 9 1/2 months old and can still grow more. :Q
