My bros just been BUSTED.

My mum was in his room and found a bag that had a jumper. It cost him £60 ($90) and still had the price tag on it and my mums going to bust him when he gets back in to the house.

Now what would you guys think if your son/daugther spend $90 on a jumper?

Well I say its his money and he can spend it on what he wants as long as he didn't steal the money and worked for the money (selling crack doesn't consitute working for money!)

I suppose its a bit much at 17, he also has a really decked out wardrobe with lots and lots of clothes. Last month he bough a jacket that cost around £300 ($450).

I use to spend a quite a bit on clothes, few items every month but haven't bought a single item since I got to Uni. I bought a tie but that wasn't much. I saved a lot of money from not buying clothes.

Hope my bro doesn't get too piss and decide to *dob* me in on my buys.

lol @ dam yanks & @ illegal substance..lol..j/k

A jumper is the same as a sweat shirt. You may wear it over a shirt or t shirt when its colder. It is long sleeved.

I live in England and have gotten use to the lingo.

No he didn't steal it but my parents are not very frivolous with money, especially my mum. My parents were born in a generation when you would eat EVERY last grain of rice on your bowl. They were brought up in Cambodia in Pol Pots regime🙁 and me and my brother were born there.

I'd bust an ink pen on it, teach him to spend $90 on a SWEATSHIRT.

Is he gay? They like to dress all pretty don't they?

no .. a jumper is one of those little plastic things with metal in them that you put on hard drives to select Master Slave Cable Select ... or on SCSI Drives to determine the SCSI ID, or on motherboards to determine FSB, voltage, reset the bios, or on old ISA Devices ....... etc etc etc

$90 for a sweatshirt seems normal in England. I saw Levi's jeans for 60 quid (about $90), but I could buy them at the USAF base for $30. I could have made a lot of money buying stuff on base and selling them to the locals.

When I was going to a private school in elementary grades, a "jumper" was a red, black, and blue plaid dress as required attire.

Assuming you are a guy, as depicted by your icon, I think it's safe to say that dress was a nice touch for forming your future plans.

If you're going to insult me, atleast make it funny.

Seems to me that your "mum" is too nosey. If he bought it with his own money then she needs to STFU. England isn't exactly the killing fields of Cambodia....she needs to lighten up.
