Quick Question for anyone....My buddy just bought me a Buslink 52x24x52x CD-RW drive. The website said it used Smartburn Technology (hint..Re-Bagged Liton CD-RW) and when he brought it over the box says JustLink & JustSpeed Technology and the drive is a re-bagged AOpen drive.

We both wanted a Lite-on or a re-bagged Lite-on CD-RW drive.

Should I return this one? Does anyone have an opinion this drive?

Justlink is Aopen or Ricoh. You got a Aopen. Is the door eliptical shaped?

I have an Aopen 48x12x48 . It's OK. A little noisy. I'd rather have a Liteon but kept it anyway. It was a Cendyne rebage.
Aopen would be my choice behind Liteon. Ahead of BenQ, Optorite, BTC etc. My 32x TDK is also a remade Aopen/Ricoh and it's been flawless.

Yes. It says Aopen, compared to Lite on is is worth me installing this drive? Should I sell it on eBay and still buy a Lite-on which uses Smartburn technology?

Any advice would be great.

I am replacing my old 40x16x10x Plextor which was awesome and still works fine, I just want to increase my speed and still be stable and not burn coasters?

I also use Nero(which I assume works fine) and Fireburner....Anyone have info on that?

Up to you, I dunno if I would go ebay. Maybe you can exchange it a BB?
Heck I only have $10 in my Aopen I got at staples around christmas.

The evidence to go with LiteOn (Burnproof), is appearing to be weak....?

I too would like to see replies with regard to why Burnproof is better than Justlink.

If anyone has a link that compares these I'd like to read it.
