INSTOREspecial ad
sku 295112
did a search for buslink, did a search for compusa/cusa, didn't see this, ignore if repost
couldn't find any in my area, plus it's an AO4 (?) special purchase, so doubt they will come in, cannot be ordered from warehouse
reviewof 32x liteon, as buslinks in the past have been lite-on
product pagesays 32x buslink uses smartburn -- which is lite-on technology
good luck!

none of the mgrs could tell me :)P), but they said they think it's instant, because the regular price is $49.99 in the system...

I bought one. They charged me 44.99 and I'll be getting a rebate for 20 from BUSLINK. The drive is, indeed, a LITEON. This is one of the nicest drives and it's a great deal.

i think these drives are lite-ons becuz i saw "smartburn" on the outside of the box. if it is an instant rebate, i'm all over this like the 24x cdrw for $20 last week :D

btw, many of the 32x lite-on drives can be firmware upgraded to 40x cdrw drives :D link

i finally found one last night to pm, but it uses justlink and justspeed (ricoh based afaik), so i left it and concentrated on dealing with dummy for a open box 4200

The price is

$44.95 (in store)
- 20.00 (mail in rebate)
---------
24.95

This isn't such a hot deal, IMHO, due to the rebate. But if you were going to buy a 32x burner
right now anyway, I guess it's OK.
