Business site suggestions

The design I like...simple and to the point. I do not like the logo though, it could be a lot better. Layout is good though.

what can i do to make it less boring and less plain?

Look at what oswd.org has

Cluttered design, very sloppy.

As for your site, host, it's too plain and simple, unsophisticated.

You want a site that is very attractive.

i.e.
monarchcomputer.com
dell.com
microsoft.com
newegg.com
alienware.com
http://www.energizer.com/ --> This site owns Duracell.com because of loading times with flash? You have to be kidding me...
http://www.square-enix.com/na/index_f.html

Personally, the web page designers need an artistic mind, yet very strong organizational skills. You have to be the best to survive in the business world, amen to that.

Thanks for the link. Ill check it out more if i can't get a good site up.

I made the site simple because i won't be doing anything like selling items,
but i kind of figured that people like simplicity more than style when dealing
with business sites. The site is just a front for a local computer repair
business so people can request service as well as check prices and
read-up on what we do.

So i guess maybe going with a flashier design might also draw more customers.

Well its back to the drawing board if i can't think of a way to make it
more attractive.

it's clean and simple. I think your fonts could be better, maybe a little flashier. I'd also make the navbar less thick, and maybe place the headlines elswhere (up top?). Overall, it's clean lookign and pretty good.

once more for the road.

so
simple = bad or unprofessional

ill see if i can jazz it up a bit though
maybe give it a bit more color to make it stand out,
maybe a greyish background.
