SELL, SELL, SELL!

Oh, everyone is selling?

BUY, BUY, BUY!

No, this isn't the case. My mom is the realtor and that's just her estimate.

Now, there's no guarantee our home values will be affected. If the business does something to help mitigate the noise then I doubt they'll be any affect to our home values at all. At this point, I've neither seen or heard of any plans to do so.

I'm sure I'll find out more at the city council meeting in 10 days.

I have a small airport across the street from our subdivision and an old, abandon Exxon Natural Gas field on another side. You can see both, yet our home values have gone up even in this housing environment. It helps we have acreage lots and are away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but industrial doesn't always bite your values.

Sounds like another thread with complaints of home value. I've said before I laugh at the people that *expect* their home values to stay the same or increase. A home should be viewed as a dwelling, a place that takes monthly expenditures (like repairs, rebuilds ect) and shouldn't be viewed as an equity line.
